Assesment methods:
Students individually elaborate 3 projects within the semester. They submit them electronically. They have to present the results and defend them. The students are rated in accordance with the study rules of the STU.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The students know the basic types of uncertainties. They are able to analyze the robust stability of systems with structured uncertainties. They are able to propose a controller for systems with interval parametric uncertainty. The students know how to use linear matrix inequalities in the analysis of robust stability and the design of robust controllers for systems with polytopic uncertainty. The students know unstructured uncertainty. They can analyze the robust stability of systems with unstructured uncertainty and can propose a robust controller for such systems.
